Ketchikan adds another COVID case

    Ketchikan, Alaska (KINY) - A new case of the virus brings Ketchikan's total to 204 cases.

    The Emergency Operations Center said the new patient sought testing at a local clinic after they experienced symptoms.

    The person now in isolation.  The source of the virus is under investigation.  A contact tracing investigation is also underway.

    There were no new hospitalizations reported at PeaceHealth Ketchikan Medical Center.

    Ketchikan has nine active cases.

    The positivity rate over the past seven days is 1.26%.

    The results of 109 tests are pending.
