Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - Nineteen Juneau residents were identified with COVID-19 by the Alaska Department of Health and Social Services Wednesday.
Juneau Public Health reports there are now about 64 active cases. No one from the Juneau School District has tested positive since Tuesday.
There were 487 cases reported statewide Wednesday, according to the state, which also reported six recent deaths.
They included an Anchorage woman in her 40s; a Bristol Bay man in his 60s; a Kenai woman in her 40s and three Anchorage residents. They included a woman and man in their 60s and a man in his 50s.
The COVID-19 death toll in Alaska now stands at 840.
The next case count will be issued on Monday.
