Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - Yesterday afternoon, News of The North published a story regarding the Southeast Alaska Conversation Council or SEACC and SEACC United.

The story positioned statements made by SEACC United as wholly factual and did not properly attribute them as claims made by SEACC United. SEACC while reached out to for comment, did not have their comment included in the initial story and was published roughly an hour after. News of the North seeks to keep the public of Juneau properly informed on events happening both in our community and on the national level. As such the story has been taken down and News of The North would like to formally apologize for any potential harm the story has caused.
