Tuluksak, Alaska (KINY) - The state of Alaska is delivering almost 1300 gallons of drinking water to Tuluksak since their temporary water filtration system must be taken offline due to river ice break-up.

Some pallets arrived Monday, with more on the way.

Tuluksak's washeteria and water facility were destroyed by fire in January. The Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management said they will remain in close contact with the community and that they will continue to help supply water until a new temporary solution is found.
